Zheng Duoduo and Sun Tong are best friends and roommates who are about to finish grad school. They live in an apartment owned by Duoduo’s parents. Duoduo is engaged to be married next month, but he plays with fire by asking out Mo Mo, his old flame from high school and inviting her to his home. Duoduo’s fiancée Gao Lu unexpectedly shows up and runs into Mo Mo. Sun Tong, who once had a crush on Gao Lu, tries to protect her from the truth so that her wedding isn't ruined. He helps cover for Duoduo, and the two guys employ various means to keep both girls in the dark.

One lie requires ten more lies to cover it. As the lies snowball, Sun Tong finds himself swept into a complex web of relationships and eventually finds himself stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one side is “doing the right thing.” On the other side is “self interests.” What will Sun Tong choose in the end?

Liu Lu, a talented director and scriptwriter. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in directing from the Central Academy of Drama which she received in 2004 and in 2009 respectively.
