DIRECTOR’S BIOGRAPHY
Alice Seabright is a writer and director based in London. She is a 2019 Screen International Star of Tomorrow and is currently directing Laurie Nunn’s SEX EDUCATION for Netflix and Eleven Film. She is developing a number of TV and Film projects including TV drama CHLOE with Tally Garner of Mam Tor Productions for BBC Drama, comedy drama TV series GIVE ME SHELTER with Fable Pictures, and feature script OUT OF MIND, which won the 2016 Shore Scripts Screenwriting competition and the 2017 Screenwriting Goldmine competition. Her latest short film, END-O, a comedy about Endometriosis, written by Elaine Gracie and produced by Alexandra Blue & Kate Phibbs, stars Sophia Di Martino and will premiere at BFI London Film Festival. Prior to that, her short films have screened and won awards at festivals including BFI London Film Festival, Palm Springs, Raindance, Aesthetica, Encounters, Flickers’ Rhode Island, LOCO Film Festival, and have been long listed for the BAFTA Short Film award. Alice is a member of directing collective Cinesisters and is represented by Harriet Pennington Legh at Troika Talent Agency.
