True Gods Have Bones is somehow a cinematographic denounce of the current dominant world order, through the stories of particular little boys and girls in Guniea Bissau. These stories also speak about the fight of young women for their rights in this African country: the right to finish their school education, their right to not be mutilated, the right to choose whether they want to be married or not,  and with whom. Today, it seems indispensable to point out the unavoidable interconnection between social injustices that people face from all over the world.
