A poor dreamer who reaches the top, an Aeta teacher who dreams of passing the licensure exam, a veteran educator who believes a teacher never quits. These three teachers motivate one another to achieve their goals. The impact these women have on their students emphasizes that teachers are not only educators but also agents of social change.

Lemuel Lorca is an award-winning filmmaker raised in Mauban, Quezon. He has directed several films the most recent of which, Ned’s Project, was selected as CineFilipino Film Festival’s Best Film. Lorca was trained at the Mowelfund Film Institute and his cinematic skills are characterized by a lack of pretense. His films focus on what is real and logical and strive to never give way to artistic excesses. Lorca attested that his humble upbringing in a small unassuming southern town has contributed to his unadulterated goals and visions. His ideology is clear: simple stories are more beautifully told when executed as purely as possible.
