Rupa lives in Agra, a city in India. Her dream is to be a fashion designer so that she can own her own boutique and employ fellow victims of acid attacks. Acid attacks are still a common form of gender-based violence around the world, and its victims continue to face immense societal discrimination. While Rupa and her employees prepare for a monumental fashion show to showcase the designs of these women, we get to know more about their life stories and dreams.

Glória Halász is a director of award-winning feature documentaries. What a Circus! is her latest creative documentary about Reciquel Contemporary Circus Company, the movie was screened theatrically in several Hungarian cinemas. Topics where art meets social questions, are particularly exciting for Halász.
