DIRECTOR’S BIO
I’ve always been fascinated with film as a medium for storytelling but my own personal journey with film first kicked off when I started to bring my camera along to various climate actions around Sweden and documented what I was observing as well as experiencing. I applied to a documentary filmmaking class in 2019, this was when We Shut Shit Down was made as an initial project. Soon I found myself not only learning about the craftmanship of how to bring real life stories to the screen, but developed a deep fascination for sound mixing and foleying for visual media. Now I’m currently doing a three year university program in sound engineering and will soon head away for a longer internship at a film sound mixing studio, and a Foley studio. I’m grateful for the opportunities coming my way and excited to keep learning new skills along my journey with film sound! We Shut Shit Down won BRONZE medal at the Swedish Short Film Festival 2020.
