Sunny Bergman

Sunny Bergman is a Dutch filmmaker whose film Over the Hill will screen at this year’s China Women’s Film Festival. Her 4-part documentary series, Sunny Side of Sex, which explored sexuality, femininity and the female body in non-Western parts of the world, won the Dick Sherpenzeel Prize in 2012. Bergman has also lectured at Utrecht University on the importance of doing gender work combined with active involvement in the practice of gender theory and research.
Marie Vermeiren

Marie Vermeiren is a Belgium filmmaker and a curator of events around women artists. In 2008 she co-founded Elles Tournent, the Women’s Film Festival in Brussels (Belgium) of which she remains an active member.

One of Vancouver’s top actors, Christine Willes has extensive experience in TV, stage and film. Christine is internationally known as Delores Herbig in the Emmy-nominated TV series Dead Like Me, and the recipient of three Jessie Richardson theatre awards for excellence. Christine also coaches an international roster of actors. Christine is the founding and current chair of the UBCP/ACTRA Women’s Committee. She has presented on gender inequality at well-known conferences in Canada, and is a fierce advocate for women performers. Christine is a passionate advocate for gender equality and in her chosen profession, Christine is a leading national voice for gender equality in screen-based media.
Ruth Beckerman

In 1978, Ruth Beckermann (co-)founded the distribution company filmladen in which she was active for seven years. In this period Ruth Beckermann started to make films and to write books. Since 1985 she works as a writer and filmmaker. Her 2016 film "The Dreamed Ones" was selected at several international festivals. Beckermann is currently preparing her next project: "Waldheim – The Art of Forgetting".

Lin Weiran
《新剧本》杂志执行主编。国际戏剧评论家协会 (IATC)中国分会理事。毕业于中央戏剧学院戏剧 文学系，从事舞台剧、影视剧、艺术评论创作至今。
Lin is the new play magazine managing editor. She is also the member of the international drama critics association (IATC) and director of the China branch. Lin graduated from the drama literature department of the Academy of Drama and is actively engaged in theater, film, television, and art critiques.

Lin founded Xin'ai Female Sex Worker's Home in 2008, a NGO designed to help low-income female sex workers. Their primary goal is to help sex workers find treatment for venereal diseases and give them more resources to learn about their reproductive health. Xin'ai also aims to help these sex workers achieve greater job safety as well as eliminate the social discrimination of surrounding this occupation.
In order to eliminate discrimination against female sex workers, in 2014, Xin'ai created the "Influential factors study on rural women born in the 1970s who become migrant sex workers".
In 2015, their organization wanted to increase awareness about their NGO's mission to eliminate discrimination against sex workers. In order to do this, Xin'ai raised money to make the short film Blossom In Midnight. The film tells the story of a sex worker's real life experience from the study mentioned above. In 2015, they also turned the interview manuscripts of the study into a book.
